Cairo - Alex– Luxor -Abusimble -Aswan - 12 Nights

 

DAY 1 Arrive Cairo

Sunday

Upon arrival in Cairo, airport our REP will help you at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

In the evening, head to the pier for a Nile dinner cruise. For two hours sail along the Nile in luxury, while enjoying a belly dancer, folklore show, western music as well as a delicious dinner

 DAY 2 Cairo

Monday

On a full day tour of the Giza Pyramids, Memphis and Saqqara. We will visit the towering pyramids, the ruins of Memphis in the village of Mit Rahina, and then go to the Saqqara Necropolis, where the step pyramid of Zoser stands. (Lunch is included) then

Head back to the hotel and enjoy an evening at leisure.

Optional : Sound & light show at Giza Pyramids.

DAY 3 Tour to Alex

Tuesday

Alexandria

Early this morning, head from Cairo to Alexandria. In Alexandria, visit the National museum, the fort of Quaitbay (built on the original site of the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria and from the lighthouse ruins), the Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa (a series of Alexandrian tombs, statues and other artifacts influenced by the Hellenistic and Roman funeral cult), the Pomey Piller and the Roman theatre. Finally walk in Montazah Gardens on the grounds of the Montazah Palace. Lunch is included. Evening return to Cairo..

Day 4 Cairo

Wednesday

Today we will go for a full day tour of Cairo. Start the day with a morning visit to the Egyptian Museum with a guide. After lunch (included), head to the Citadel to see the once glorious medieval fortification. Then, you will visit the Mosque of Mohamed Ali then To complete the day, head to the famous Khan-el-Khalil Bazaar for a bit of bartering.

Day 5  Cai – Aswan

Thursday

After Breakfast Domestic Flight from Cairo to Aswan    
Upon arrival into Aswan you will be met by a local representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Aswan, then we will start

Half Day Tour of the High Dam, Obelisk and Philae Temple

After checking in to the hotel departs for a full day tour to visit the High Dam, the unfinished Obelisk, and the Philae Temple. The unfinished Obelisk lies in the quarry north of the city and would have been the largest ancient Egyptian obelisk if it had been finished. The Philae Temple was actually moved from its original site due to the construction of the High Dam. Lunch is included in a local restaurant

DAY 6 Aswan - Abu Simbel

Private Full Day Abu Simbel Tour by Car

Today transfer to Abu Simbel.. Situated 280 kilometers south of Aswan, transfer (2 and half hours driving by private A/C Van) from Aswan to Abu Simbel to visit the two temples of Abu Simbel, known as the most magnificent temples in the world. The first temple was built by the Pharaoh Ramses II, and the second was built for his wife Queen Nefertiti..

Transfer back to Aswan. Upon arrival, check in to your cruise ship.

At 4:00 AM, a Hot Air Balloon tour over Luxor. Discover sunrise from the sky and enjoy seeing the cultivated lands, the River Nile and the huge monuments of the city. Then Visit Ramesuem , Habu Tmobs.

DAY 11- Luxor - Cairo

DAY 12  Old Cairo

Thursday

After Breakfast will start our tour to the old Coptic part in Cairo where we can see the old Coptic churches. The Hanging Church is named for its location above a gatehouse of Babylon Fortress, the Roman fortress in Coptic Cairo (Old Cairo); its nave is suspended over a passage. The church is approached by twenty-nine steps; early travelers to Cairo dubbed it "the Staircase Church. The land surface has risen by some six meters since the Roman period so that the Roman tower is mostly buried below ground, reducing the visual impact of the church's elevated position. The entrance from the street is through iron gates under a pointed stone arch. The nineteenth-century facade with twin bell towers is then seen beyond a narrow courtyard decorated with modern art biblical designs. Up the steps and through the entrance is a further small courtyard leading to the eleventh-century outer porch. Then will go to have our lunch in local restaurant Lunch included

Then visit to Ben Ezra Synagogue which is situated in Old Cairo, Egypt. It was originally named El-Shamieen Church, and is situated behind the "hanging church". The Synagogue once had an old copy of the Old Testament, and it was said that Ezra the Prophet (Al-Azir) had written it. It is believed that the site of the Synagogue where the box of Baby Moses was found.
